Brewerytown has become something of a hot spot as of late thanks to a remarkable transformation that’s brought a slew of development (think: restaurants, retail and plenty of public art) to the locale. For a while, this meant many folks were waiting on the sidelines, watching Brewerytown evolve at a breakneck pace. But now, those same people are clamoring to nab homes and leases in one of the city’s most up-and-coming and highly accessible quarters. Residents are also in surprisingly close walking distance to many Philly favorites along the Schuylkill River and Pennsylvania Avenue, which means: walking distance to Fairmount and the Schuylkill River Trail for weekend escapes.
